Course Aim:
A course aimed at people who have little or no knowledge of Fire Extinguishers or Fire Safety. Either for personnel involved with health and safety or for anyone wishing to gain a greater level of competence on this subject. Suitable for all. To educate in the classes of fire risk and the different types of extinguisher media.
Course Objectives:
To ensure confidence in the use of fire extinguishers, to be safe, competent and to know when to tackle or retreat.
Syllabus Includes:
Why do we need to learn about fire safety? Identification of classes of fire risk, types of fire extinguishers, Video Presentations in fire safety, Demonstration and discharge of four main types of extinguishers, What to do in the event of a fire, Course questionnaire, Question and answer session.
Certificate:
Certificate of attendance, valid for 1 year.
Trainers Qualifications
Our trainers are Emergency Services Trained as well as holding qualifications in teaching and assessing. They have many years practical experience of first aid. Our fire safety course leaders are Fire Service trained at the Morton-in-March College and have extensive experience in the field of domestic and commercial fires. Their training is internationally recognized and undergoes continual assessment from the British Fire Brigade. ~~~879~880~~
